Stories In Light Imagery is a photography business located in the beautiful Whitsundays, QLD. Owner, Lucy, is a professional photographer specialising in family photography, special event photography, and model portfolios. Photography is an art form and I like to explain it as writing a moment with light!
I am passionate about getting to know you and your essence to provide a valuable and long-lasting experience. My photography service is available across the Whitsundays, having done family photography in Airlie Beach, Model Portfolios in Cannon Valley, and event photography in Jubilee Pocket. For us the photography is all about you, it is more than just a photo, we create a relaxed, enjoyable, and inclusive experience for all our clients.

Family Portraiture
Family Portrait photography sessions are focused on capturing the meaning behind the essence of each family's unique dynamic. As a professional photographer and having experience being the subject of photographic works, I know how intimidating and uncomfortable a photography session can be. My role is to get the best pictures of you, by providing a comfortable and relaxed environment. Part of this process is to provide direction and suggestion to my clients to achieve great photos.
Wedding Photography
Lucy and Mel, as owners of two separate photographic businesses, have come together to bring you a wedding team with a point of difference. Many couples wish they could go back and relive their wedding day- it’s often a fast-paced schedule with brief encounters with each guest. The convenience of having two photographers provides you with more photographic moments over a shorter period of time: ultimately leaving you to spend more time with your valued guests and covering more aspects of your special day.
Modelling Portfolio
Model Photography sessions are comprised of headshots, full body and glamour or creative photography. This is to showcase you as a person. It is recommended a model brings a range of clothing and accessories to their shoot. We process all my photos within a four-week time period from the photography date, in rare circumstances images may take longer than this. I will always communicate wait timeframes for photographs with you.
